Studio Buzz

I can’t believe that 2011 is nearly over and 2012 is nearly here.  We have many things in store for the coming year.

Currently we are remodeling the home and putting in a photography studio so we can photograph you throughout the year.  We will post snippets of our progress in the coming months.

Listening to Holiday music and watching the Christmas specials and movies on the television while editing images and working on pricing, marketing materials, and getting the website put together is helping to get me into the spirit.  I just wish there were more hours in the day to get everything done.  The kids are getting excited for Santa to come (so excited that it’s hard to keep them contained).

We are also looking forward to the many seminars and learning opportunities that are coming up in the next few months.  Attending these are what up our game in the industry – looking at the new products that the professional print labs come up with, learning the new techniques in posing and lighting, and business strategies are what differentiate professionals from those that have “good cameras”.  We have been attending classes and seminars for years and have attained our certification through the Professional Photographers of America.  Look for us on the web soon at rms-studios.com, and continue to check out the blog, Facebook, and twitter for the latest information.
